our process

Our work aims to foster the development of Africa for Africans and is anchored in Indigenous African Knowledge and seeks to arrive at relevant solutions to African challenges. Our research niche is social research, and it is underwritten by problem-solving and solution-driven approaches. This research, which is also evidence-based, is concerned with examining social phenomena and social problems, to arrive at possible solutions in the form of policy alternatives. Thus, our work is solution-driven and is informed by actions aimed at problem-solving.

Some of them focus on policy development, for instance, the Community Development Policy for South Africa with the National Department of Social Development, and training peer youth peacebuilders for the Whitaker Peace and Development Initiative (WPDI).
