The Southern African Policy and Development Nexus (SAPDN) facilitates international student exchange programs in partnership with local NGOs, contributing positively to academic scholarship and knowledge advancement. These internships, lasting from 3-6 months or more, provide students with hands-on experience in development work within South Africa. To date, SAPDN has welcomed interns from Olomouc, Czech Republic, and Germany, with additional interns from the United States joining later this year. By immersing students in real-world settings, SAPDN ensures they gain practical skills and insights that complement their academic studies, preparing them to become effective practitioners and advocates for sustainable development in their home countries and beyond.
